COMING SOON! MILES DEI EUCHARISTIA!

St. Peter Julian Eymard prophetically saw the decline in the belief in the Eucharist and said that we all needed to be soldiers of our Eucharistic God, or in Latin, Miles Dei Eucharistia.  St. Peter said that good Catholics do not love our Lord in the Eucharist because they do not know Him there.  Additionally, he said that where there is a lack of faith in the Eucharist the Church will see fresh despoils.  This is where we are today!

Pope St. Pius X who had a great devotion to St. Peter Julian said that “the most necessary thing of all, at this time, is for every parish to possess a group of laymen who will be at the same time virtuous, enlightened, resolute, and truly apostolic.”(1) We agree.  Combining this we with St. Peter Julian's statements, we would add "adorers of the Eucharist" to this list.

Miles Dei Eucharistia is the Solution St. Pius X and St. Peter Sought

As St. Pius X prophetically stated, we need to raise up an army of faithful Catholic laymen who will be at the same time virtuous, enlightened, resolute, truly apostolic, and as St. Peter Julian would say, true soldiers of our Eucharistic God (Miles Dei Eucharistia).   We need to raise up groups of layman in every parish to join in the greatest battle of all time.  The battle to bring about the Eucharistic Reign of Jesus.

Our king is alive. Our King is with us, really and truly, every day, in every Catholic church in the world.  But almost nobody lives according to this truth.  In the minds of most Catholics, the Eucharist has been reduced to, at best, just a sacrament to be received once a week at mass.  At worst, and for the majority of Catholics, it has been reduced to just a sign, one that is no different than a protestant communion service.  It is truly a tragedy, one that   It is happening as St. Peter Julian prophesied.

But for such a time as this, God is calling men to rise up, and take up their rightful role and duty as soldiers of our Eucharistic God.  There is no coincidence that we have both a decline in faith in the Eucharist and a decline in the participation of laymen in the life of the Church.  It is time to change both of these.   Miles Dei Eucharistia, will not only challenge men to return to their rightful place of duty as soldiers of our Eucharistic Lord, but will educate them, train them, and give them powerful and practical tools that will truly help them become not only soldiers of our Eucharistic Lord, but Eucharistic saints in the making.

Planned Programs

We are going to launch with two levels and are actively developing a third.  The first level will be one where men can join individually or in small groups and the second will be chapter "cenacles" or upper rooms.  The programs will be designed to meet people where they are at in their faith journey and yet inspire and challenge them to continues growing in their knowledge, love and service of our Eucharistic King.

We will supply them with Blessed Sacrament Chaplets and teach them how to pray individually, in adoration, and in mental prayer.  We will provide catechesis and spiritual direction on what it means to be a true adorer of the Lord in the Eucharist.  This will be drawn largely from the beautiful writings of St. Peter Julian Eymard.  They will include practical and inspiring catechesis on devotion to Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament and to St. Joseph as the model of adorers.  We will provide access to other materials specifically for Catholic men, like the Warrior Prayer Manual.

We will build this as slow or fast as the Holy Spirit and resources will allow.  Having said that, if you want to see real improvement in the life of the Church through renewal of faith the in Jesus Real presence in the Eucharist and authentic Catholic masculine spirituality, please generously contribute!
